S'Albufera Natural Park Majorca May 2012 Pictures by Jill Chase

S' Albfera Natural Park  is situated in the North East of the island of Majorca.     This Natural Wetland Park is an excelent place to view wetland birds, with marked out walks.    There are several great view points, and hides around the park.     It is free to entry, but a permit is required on entry at the information office.

Ospreys can be seen with a back-drop of the Alcudia II, a small 78mw coal fired power station, generating power for the island of Majorca.
