Floods of the New Forest 20/12/2012

There was a sever weather warning for the South Coast of England and New Forest.     The village of Sway was difficult to get to from the West.    I tried to get to Sway through several minor roads that were not flooded, and came across a farm trailer in a ditch, which blocked that route. I had to do a 4 mile detour to get to Sway.    The main railway line was flooded just outside Sway.     Trains were able to run through Sway from about 6-30pm onwards.     Another local flooding place is Latchmore Bridge, where a car got stuck trying to get to Brockenhurst, and the 2 persons had to be rescued through ths windows.     The persons were locals, and should have known better.    The road was closed, but the driver took no notice of the signs.    The final 3 pictures are of Efford Mill just 1.5 miles West of Lymington, flooded.
