Basingstoke Town Fc Pitch 16/03/2013

Basingstoke Town Pitch looks ok from the picture, but with heavy rain, on the night of 15th March, the pitch was un-playable.    At the other end of the ground, training end, it was a lot worse than the turnstile end.     The match against Weston Super-Mere was called off at around 10 am on the match day.     It was a blessing, as another heavy belt of rain went through the area at 4-15pm, which would have made the pitch un-playable even more.     Salisbury City's match against Dover was called off at half time, due to a waterlogged pitch.
