Can you take low light floodlit pictures?

I have had non-league football matches with a minimium lux of 100, and I can get pictures of football action in these conditions

My favourite Kit

Nikon D5, and for daylight sport, a domestic 80-400 f5.6.    When travelling I find a Nikon D750 with the 28-300.

D5 is the best if one can aford it, Nikon low light camera body.

Lenses,    28-300mm for travel, it is not pro rated, but I have had great results taken from aircraft flying to Majorca over France and Spain.     I take hood off for photos near windows.

24-70mm great all rounder for close up photography and landscapes.

70-200mm for close up low light football pictures with F2.8

200-400mm used a lot for wildlife and daylight football due to F4 stop

400mm I use evening games on a monopod due to weight and is great for low light sports action on F2.8

For beginners, start off with budget cameras, and build your way up.     Learn how to use manual controls, as Pro cameras use mainly manual with auto help.
