The cameras used are 2 X Nikon D4 camera bodies. One had a 200-400mm F4 Lens with a X2 teleconverter to get real close up shots, and the other a 70-200mm F2.8 Nikon Lens. The hills ibn the background of Hurst castle are approx. 3/4 mile away from the castle with the Solent running between the castle and the Isle of Wight.
Again, there is no cropping or photoshop, just the skill of the camera operaters, Jill & Les Chase. ISO speeds can be up to 204800 in almost darknesson one or two real dark images.
