Les Chase Photographer.

I am currently using the new 2016 Nikon D5 camera, and I was lucky enough to have one of the first to be released in UK shops just before Easter 2016.    There has been limited supply due to world wide requests for the camera body.

I am freelance covering aspects of photography from Football, Non League in the winter using Nikon's latest camera, the Nikon D5, which has fantastic results in poor light conditions, thus making it the most suitable for poorly lit Non League lighting conditions, and evening games.

I have decided to stand down as Basingstoke Town FC, club photographer, as I can no longer afford to take pictures for the club on a voluntary basis, and travelling a 100 mile round trip for each home game.     I will be still taking football action pictures but at a different level to where Basingstoke Town are in the 2016 to 2017 Football League season.    I have informed the club of, I standing down in early June 2016, so the club can find another photographer for the new season.

I have been intrested is most aspects of the outdoor photography for many years.     I started with SLR film cameras in 1982 as a hobby.     After a break from still photography for a few years, going over to video formats, I found that I still had the still photography as my main intrest.     When using video, I spent a time filming football at most levels.

The largest match I photographed so far is "The Sky bet Championship Play off Final" at Wembley in May 2014 Queens Park Rangers vs Derby County.     QPR had a player sent off, but won the match on the 90th minute with a Bobby Zamora scoring.    I was able to capture the goal being scored from the side of the pitch and Zamora celebrating to QPR fans running towards me.     I have also covered all 4 play-off final games at Wembley in the 2015-16 season at Wembley

Other intrests include, Landscapes and Wildlife.

Jill Chase Photographer Sadly passed away on May 28th 2015 with Breast Cancer.

Jill enjoyed her photography, always supporting me in all aspects of her photography.

Jill has her main intrests of Landscapes and local scenes to the New Forest, along with assisting her husband Les at Non League football matches taking pictures for the Basingstoke Town FC program, and other photo shoots when required.
