Longslade Bottom area near Sway in the Southern part of the New Forest November 2015

Pictures taken late afternoon 18th November 2015.    There is a disused railway line from Brockenhurst to Ringwood.     I understand when steam trains used to run along the line, ponies used to gallop along the side of the track.    Longslade was used in the second world war, for growing food for the nation, and this is why it is open grassland.
