The football season at The Cambrose Basingstoke is now over, but the pitch needs work on.    These pictures show groundsman Ray Bulpitt putting fresh soil on to fill small holes made in the last season of football, and then he brushes the soil in to the holes.     Do not worry about the digger workings along the touch lines and in the goal areas.    This is to loosen the soil compacted by the goalkeepers, and linesmen, where the soil is mostly presses down.
