With Gosport on a 1-0 lead one side of the ground floodlights failed the oppisite side to the tunnel and dugouts on 49 minutes.     Several attempts were made to get the 8 floodlights working again, but sadly the fault could not be found, as I can recall.   Simon Dunn was carried off in the first half with a leg injury, and could be out for several weeks,     He was able to hobble back to a car to get a lift back home.

Basingstoke Town managed to score league goals for the first time in 4 matches if I am correct.   Basingstoke have scored in various cup matches in between although.    They managed to put 3 past Bishops Stortford, but still lost 5-3.     Weather conditions were poor, but my wife Jill and I have found over 100 action pictures, but sadly hardly any goals.    We hope you enjoy looking at these pictures.
